New York City Part 1

A week ago for spring break, I went to New York to visit my older sister. I stayed in her apartment for 3 nights and during the day, she showed me around her city. I had a blast during my visit and even had what I consider the best food I've ever had. And that's saying a lot.

We ate breakfast/lunch at Ippudo, a Japanese ramen restaurant, one afternoon. The ramen was good, but the pork bun was amazing. I wanted 100 of the pork buns. The bun was so soft and pillowy while the meat was so tender and flavorful.

The next time I'm in New York, my mission is to try Momofuku's pork bun so I can compare it against Ippudo's and eventually make it at home.

Other delicious eats in New York included Eggs Norweigan with Smoked Salmon and Hollaindaise at Alchemy in Brooklyn, bread & cheese from Eataly, Soup Dumplings from Joe's Shanghai, and cupcakes from Baked by Melissa.
