When my sister came to visit from New York, I had the perfect excuse to eat at Bar Tartine. The first time we went was on a Wednesday afternoon so there were plenty of tables open. We ordered the Flatbread with Kabocha Squash Hummus and both got the Pork Knuckle Sandwich. I always like trying new foods that I've never had or rarely have, and it was my first time having pork knuckle. Very happy that I ordered it! It was a big sandwich and despite being so full, I finished the whole thing.
I hope to go to Bar Tartine for dinner service one of these days soon.

And guess who was at Bar Tartine?! Chard Robertson! Of course I turned into a complete fangirl and had to get a picture with him. I should've brought my Tartine Bread book for him to sign.
Just two days later, I stopped by again and got a Toasted Mushroom and Goat Cheese Sandwich to-go before heading to Dolores Park to sunbathe with my sister. The sandwich was very rich and so filling that I wasn't able to finish it all. After hanging out at the park, my sister and I got our cartilages pierced together. Random!
